Reader,
I'm fascinated by momentum.
It truly acts like a series of dominoes knocked down by a single one. I don't think enough people, on average, appreciate this concept enough.
Our fitness, our daily habits, our everything can be massively effected by momentum, creating compounding success over time.
I needed a reset to my morning routine.
A couple weeks back, I noticed a lack of structure to my mornings. Some days I'd snooze the alarm half a dozen times. Even if I woke up somewhat early, the constant snoozing started the day on a bad foot.
Some days I'd lift weights first thing, some days I'd skip it or do it later in the day after my jiu-jitsu class (I prefer not to lift later in the day.)
Point is, I needed a change. I watched some YouTube video that seemed to spark something in me. I made a concrete decision to build a new habit:
I committed to getting out of bed daily before 5:59am.
This decision has led to momentum in my mornings and more success in my day.
Here's the "domino" effect that has happened:
I hope you appreciate momentum, too.
Whatever you're unhappy with, make a decision to change, create the habit, and watch the compounding results unfold.
Good luck and get after it today!

P.S. Reply back and let me know what bad habit you're struggling to break. Wanting to make a change? Why or why not?
Ideally, we'd all have a clear purpose behind our fitness. We’d have clear goals and a direct plan to get there. But nothing is ever ideal and sometimes our “why” seems hard to grasp. I've learned that sometimes, the goal can simply be to show up daily. Knowing that fitness is a tool to create a better life, do it daily and see the effects. When you’re not sure why you should train, know that training daily can enhance everything else in your day. Other “why’s” may emerge from there. Hope...
Reader, Can you relate to any of these? If yes, reply back with which one(s). You can say "Number ___" for example and even elaborate on it. If you'd like help with these challenges or others, let me know in the email and I'll see how I can help. Mistake #1 - Trying To Be Perfect Your diet, workout, or life will never be “perfect.” Perfectionism is often a crippling trait that stems from fear. Focus on consistency and "messy" action instead.⠀ Mistake #2 - Too Much Volume Per Workout This one...
